The type-tested low-voltage switchgear 8PU003 developed by Siemens AG was replaced by the product of low-voltage switchgears within the last years.

Then followed the consistent modular further development of new generation of type-tested low-voltage switchgear
All the above mentioned variants are compatible among each other.

The completion of type test held by IPH Berlin in 01/2010 ensures the unique features during the arcing fault test up to 85/100 kA, 0,3 s at 725 V.

Thanks to the intensive work and numerous tests we have implemented the service characterisitics required by IEC 62271-200 (VDE 0671-200). With the successfully prooved arcing fault qualification IAC AFRL up to 31,5 kA and arc duration within 1 s, our switchgears provide the best-possible personnel safety.

Together with company Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen the arcing fault test 40 kA, 0,5 s for the compensation systems in cubicle construction of product line POCOS® was successfully passed in 12/09.

For our customers it means that the personnel safety and security from the harmonics in net were considerably improved.
